Our Services

Every year thousands of ringgit is spent by manufacturers in treating their wood packaging materials for export. The common method used is by fumigating the entire container with Methyl Bromide gas which as we know is expensive & non environmental friendly. RHTS offers a better alternative, known as (heat treatment) which requires less time and preparation compared to the traditional method.

Here is how it works:
Pallets are transported

1. Pallets* are sent or pick up to our factory in Pandamaran, Port Klang

* Our heat treatment facility can treat pallets, plus a whole range of timber products that require ISPM 15 compliance- i.e crates, wood packaging, boxes- just about anything made of timber.

Pallets are being monitored and scrutinize for defects and damages

2. Pallets are being monitored and scrutinize for defects and damages to ensure its safety before the heat treatment process can be initiated.

Pallets are stacked in the heat treatment chamber ready to be treated at core temperatures

3. Pallets are stacked in the heat treatment chamber ready to be treated at core temperatures of 56 degrees Celsius for a minimum of 30 minutes. This process removes some of the moisture from the wood, in a way makes it more weather resistant & less likely to rot.

Pallets are removed from the chamber

4. Pallets are removed from the chamber, once it is completely dry a seal bearing the ISPM mark along with the originating country (Malaysia-MY) is imprinted onto the pallet. The heat treated pallet is now in compliant & available to ship outside the country.

Our administrative will prepare the heat treatment certificate together with the invoice upon completion

5. Our administrative will prepare the heat treatment certificate together with the invoice upon completion of the heat treatment process.
